US Weekly hosted their Hot Hollywood Stars Who Care event last night in Los Angeles. A host of celebrities attended from blogger Perez Hilton to The Hill’s star Whitney Port. Heiress Paris Hilton was picture perfect on the red carpet in a silver asymmetric wrapped dress by Alexander Wang.
Kelly Osbourne continued on her fashion quest, showing off her svelte figure in a floor length geometric design dress from GUiSHEM’s new spring collection. You may remember GUiSHEM hit the headlines when Twilight’s Kristen Stewart wowed in a design at the Spike TV Scream awards.
Back in June Kristen Stewart stepped out for a photocall for the release of The Twilight Saga, Eclipse in Germany. The usually comfortably clad Kristen wowed in a blue and black mini dress from Versace’s fall collection. Now if you fancy a splurge in good time for the Christmas season you may as well go the whole hog in the very same Versace number. Net-a-porter have just got the design in available for £1,420.
The annual Hollywood Awards were held last night at the very glitzy Beverley Hills Hotel. Amongst guests for the evening were some of the A-list’s finest from the veterans such as Sylvester Stallone to the Queen’s of tinsel town Halle Berry and Hilary Swank and the movie stars of the future; Leighton Meester and Carey Mulligan.
Leighton Meester outshone all her peers in a stunning powder blue tulle dress from the spring 2011 collection by Elie Saab teamed with sandals from the collection and a Jimmy Choo clutch. Hilary Swank brightened up the red carpet in an orange one shouldered dress from the fall collection of Giorgio Armani. Newcomer and Twilight villain Bryce Dallas Howard showed off her style credentials in a strapless full skirted design, hot of the spring 2011 runway by Reem Acra with Jimmy Choo sandals.
Carey Mulligan went for a maroon draped dress from the resort collection of British designer Giles, Roger Vivier peeptoes and a VBH clutch completed her look. Minnie Driver opted to wear a black shoulder detail mini dress from fall 2009 by Paul & Joe. Finally Mia Wasikowska best known for playing Alice in Alice in Wonderland looked fab in a look from Proenza Schouler’s resort collection.
Following her sparkly appearance in Reem Acra at the Scream awards Halle Berry chose another sequinned dress this time a longsleeved number by Kaufman Franco. Finally Mila Kunis went for a classic look in little black dress by Monique Lhuillier.
Kristen Stewart made a welcome return to the red carpet this week when she appeared first at the Scream TV awards and then on the red carpet for a screening of her new movie, Welcome to the Rileys.
The Twilight star made her way on stage at the Scream tv awards to accept her best actress award last weekend in Los Angeles. Kristen has always enjoyed mixing up her choice of designers from well established to the up and coming, on this occasion she chose a white geometric patterned mini dress from the spring 2011 collection by new designer, GUiSHEM by Guillermo Jop. Giuseppe Zanotti white and black pumps finished off this refreshingly young and fun look.
Later in the week Kristen attended the New York screening of Welcome to the Rileys in a much sexier ensemble. A lace asymmetric dress from the resort collection of Valentino teamed with Brian Atwood heels and a slick of vampy red lips made for a dazzling appearance.
You would be forgiven for thinking that 90210’s AnnaLynne McCord has a Herve Leger bandage dress glued to her super slim figure which is why it was so nice to see her hit the red carpet in something a little different. The actress and rumoured girlfriend to Twilight’s Kellan Lutz attended an event in New York earlier this week in a chic blazer and trouser combo. Simple black tailored trousers and a white shirt were styled up with a silver embroidered blazer by Alice + Olivia teamed with pink Christian Louboutin pumps.
Kristen Stewart wasn’t the only vampy lady in town for the Scream Awards held at the weekend. Nikki Reed attended the awards ahead of a flight to the set of Breaking Dawn when filming is commencing this week. For the event Nikki chose a black asymmetric ruffled bottom dress by Alice + Olivia teamed with Christian Louboutin sandals.
Nina Dobrev of Vampire Diaries fame also hit up the red carpet. For a very tiny looking Nina; a simple black mini dress by Rock & Republic with a metallic Rock & Republic clutch was the outfit of choice.
Last night the annual Scream Awards took place in Los Angeles. The awards ceremony is dedicated to all things horror, sci-fi and fantasy and is voted for by the public, this of course meant that The Twilight Saga cleaned up. The vampire romance phenomenon took away the ultimate Scream award, best movie, best actress for Kristen Stewart (who skipped the red carpet but accepted her award in a stunning GUiSHEM dress), plus awards for both Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
On the red carpet young Hollywood was out in force. Anna Paquin appeared alongside husband Stephen Moyer in a black lace dress from the pre-fall collection by her favourite designer; Alexander McQueen. Emma Roberts also went for black lace in an asymmetric dress by Emilio Pucci.
Blake Lively went for a more directional look in a floor-length silk gown straight off the runway from the spring 2011 collection of Lanvin teamed with Lanvin sandals.
Twilight star Bryce Dallas Howard (who played bad vamp Victoria in the last film) attended the closing night of the New York Film Festival last night. Arriving at the screening for her new film Hereafter, the actress wowed in a an asymmetric evening gown from the fall collection of Elie Saab.
This isn’t the first time we have seen Bryce in Elie Saab, she has clearly fallen for the luxurious creations from the Lebanese designer. Just last month Bryce wore a gold gown from Elie Saab’s fall 2009 collection for the Toronto Film Festival.
This week many of Hollywood’s young starlets gathered for the Elle and Express 25 party held in LA. Twilight’s Anna Kendrick was one of the bigger names on the guestlist. Anna is the latest celeb to take on a little red dress choosing an asymmetric number from Alice + Olivia, perfectly paired with nude Jimmy Choo Private sandals.
Miranda Cosgrove looked cute in a little black embroidered shift dress, an alteration of a runway look from the fall collection of Brian Reyes. She teamed her dress with a black Chanel clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti boots. The only issue here is that the look could have done without dark tights.
Finally rising star Victoria Justice (Nickelodeon’s teen queen) made a stunning appearance in a black slit detailed Emilio Pucci dress from the fall collection. She teamed the look with a red carpet favourite, Brian Atwood’s Wagner pumps.
