Nikki Reed was another castmember present at the New York screening of Breaking Dawn – Part 1. Nikki pulled out all the stops in a floor-length neon gown from the resort collection by Michael Kors. Neon green isn’t an easy colour to carry off but Nikki adds an edge with her leather jacket and keeps her hair and makeup simple, letting the dress take centre stage.

Whilst the film’s main stars jetted off to London, Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed continued on with promotional duties for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 in New York. At a screening of the new film Ashley chose yet another custom made gown by Donna Karan. This time Ashley chose a monochrome pleated design with cut-out detailing.

The Twilight Promotional tour made it’s way to the UK today with the film’s most famous trio; Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner appearing at the London premiere of Breaking Dawn Part 1 at Westfield Stratford. Kristen pulled out her second show-stopping look in as many days; this time a black embellished gown from the new spring collection by Roberto Cavalli. Cavalli is a not normally on the list of preferred designers that Kristen tends to wear but she picked the perfect design to suit her look. Whilst the gown is very pretty it also has a slightly gothic edge, perfect for a vampy film and Kristen image. She teamed the dress with Jimmy Choo pumps and an Alexander McQueen black leather belt.

As the star of the Twilight movies Kristen Stewart was present at the Comic Con event yesterday in San Diego to promote the latest film. Kristen clearly doesn’t have a lot of love for the red carpet and subsequent red carpet dressing, luckily Comic Con is not a really dressy affair. For the occasion Kristen looked casual in 7 For All Mankind skinny jeans, a white Market sheer top and blue Converse trainers. Kristen’s hair and makeup is not completely awful but the white top and black bra combo is!

The annual Comic Con convention kicked off this week in San Diego. The event has come to be known less a geeky gathering – more a cool venue to promote upcoming film releases. The Twilight cast were on hand yesterday to promote the latest film in the franchise: Breaking Dawn Part 1. Ashley Greene who plays Alice Cullen in the franchise went for a dressed up look, wearing a blue and white gathered print dress from Cut 25 by Yigal Azrouel. She teamed the pretty dress with nude Jimmy Choo pumps.

Nikki Reed who plays Rosalie Hale in the films was also in attendance. Nikki like Ashley, went for a dressy look wearing a black floral print mini dress by D & G. She teamed the dress with Brian Atwood pumps.

Anna Kendrick attended the Celebrate Sundance Institute Benefit Gala this week. The Twilight star and Academy award nominated actress showed off a gold sequinned strapless dress from the resort collection by Monique Lhuillier. She added a pop of colour to her look (which I think works really well with gold) with bright red Christian Louboutin heels and a matching clutch.

The annual MTV Movie Awards took place last night in LA. The big winner of the night was once again The Twilight Saga who cleaned up, taking away best male and female performances, best kiss, best fight and the best movie. The cast were all in attendance to present the world premiere of the trailer for the latest instalment, Breaking Dawn Part 1.

In the style stakes Kristen Stewart has certainly found her ‘look’ for the purposes of red carpet appearances -tiny dress (never pretty – think edgy), killer heels, ruffled hair and that ‘I don’t give a ****’ attitude. On this occasion a red metal embellished strapless mini dress from the spring collection by Balmain teamed with black Christian Louboutin heels.

Balmain is the perfect choice of designer for Kristen – rock-chick, tough-luxe – words that describe the brand but also work pretty well for Kristen too.

Kristen Stewart attended the Costume Institute Gala at the MET last night and looked much happier and more relaxed on the red carpet than in previous years. The Twilight actress went for a custom made gown by Proenza Schouler. The black and red column dress features a thigh split and my favourite detail the daring open back. Kristen accessorised the look with Fred Leighton bracelets, Proenza Schouler sandals and a clutch.

Fellow Twilight star Ashley Greene also attended the ball. Whilst Kristen was busy perfecting her edgy red carpet look, Ashley went for a dramatic look in a custom made nude tulle gown by Donna Karan. Lorraine Schwartz jewels complete the ultra glamourous look.

Anna Kendrick attended the opening night of the Tribeca Film Festival at the Winter Garden in New York last night. The Twilight actress showed off a perfect springtime look in a floral dress from Vivienne Westwood’s Red Label collection. Anna knows what works for her and sticks to it, this pretty off the shoulder dress is the second Vivienne Westwood design Anna has worn in a matter of weeks.
