Angelina Jolie made another appearance on the red carpet for the promotional tour of her new film The Tourist. This time she attended the Rome premiere alongside her boyfriend Brad Pitt and co-star Johnny Depp.
Her choice of attire was rather dull; a Salvatore Ferragamo blazer teamed with satin trousers in her favourite palette of black. Perhaps Angelina’s gotten bored of dressing for red carpet events, this look certainly has no place on a Hollywood superstar at an international film premiere.
Angelina Jolie appeared in Berlin yesterday to promote her new movie The Tourist alongside her co-star Johnny Depp. Angelina appeared on the red carpet alongside her partner Brad Pitt in a black velvet off the shoulder gown by Versace. Angelina is at times at risk of looking like Morticia Adams, this is one of them. A combination of the black velvet and long-sleeved gloves make this look a little costume.
Earlier in the day at the film’s photocall Angelina went for a much chicer ensemble in a simple black shift dress by Salvatore Ferragamo. Not one of Angelina’s more exciting outings but works just fine as a LBD look.
New York was treated to a star-studded premiere last night when the cast of new film, The Tourist flew in. The film’s stars; Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie attended and flashbulbs were sent wild when Brad Pitt posed alongside his long-term girlfriend.
Angelina Jolie debuted a surprising look; in a move away from her favoured colour black, the superstar appeared in a cream long-sleeved gown by Atelier Versace. Angelina’s favoured designs all seem to include a thigh length split, adding a good dose of sex appeal to her look. Salvatore Ferragamo cream pumps completed her elegant look.
Also in attendance Jennifer Connelly alongside her husband actor Paul Bettany. Jennifer went high fashion in a sequinned dress look from the new spring collection by Balenciaga, toughened up with a leather biker jacket and strappy sandals.

In sub zero temperatures it is tempting to head out dressed in your cosiest pyjamas but turning up to a red carpet premiere in them is not advisable……(even if velvet is ‘in’ this winter)!

Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester went for a high fashion choice in a black and pink sheer dress straight from the runway of new seventies vibe spring collection by American favourite, Marc Jacobs. She teamed the dress with pumps by Salvatore Ferragamo.

For the event Jessica showcased a darker side in a stunning black lace Oscar De La Renta dress from the resort 2011 collection with much darker brunette locks. Black is not normally a colour we see Jessica Biel in, she often prefers much girlier palettes.

British actress Frida Pinto who shot to fame following her role in the Oscar winning film; Slumdog Millionaire yesterday embarked on a fashion frenzy involving three fabulous outfit changes. The actress is currently in Toronto promoting her new movie Miral.
First up, for an appearance at the Guess Portrait Studio, a stunning ivory lace dress from the pre-fall collection by Alexander McQueen. A pair of golden sandals by Jimmy Choo completed the look.
Later in the day on the red carpet alongside boyfriend Dev Patel for the Miral premiere, Frida wore a show-stopping red silk dress from the fall couture collection by Chanel with silver peeptoe pumps.
Finally for the after-party another change of outfit, this time a pink asymmetric Marchesa dress from the resort collection with black Salvatore Ferragamo heels.
The Toronto International Film Festival is in full swing and last night saw yet another star-studded premiere. Black Swan was the movie making its Toronto debut and it’s stars Natalie Portman and Winona Ryder both flew in for the event.
Natalie Portman wore a daffodil print strapless dress from the resort collection of one of her favourite designers, Jason Wu. Black Salvatore Ferragamo pumps completed the pretty look.
Winona Ryder made a rare red carpet appearance in a Louis Vuitton dress from the fall collection which famously celebrates the shape of women (a look that Winona wears well). Finally Rachel Weisz looked chic in a navy patterned dress from the resort collection of Oscar De La Renta paired with Stella McCartney shoes and a Roger Vivier clutch.
