The 18th BAFTA Tea Party took place last week at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. On the red carpet, BAFTA nominee Michelle Williams went with a pretty elfin look in a cute monochrome design from the new collection by Victoria Beckham; Victoria.

Evan Rachel Wood chose a classic ensemble with a sexy twist; a red skirt and blouse look from the new spring collection by Roland Mouret with a peak of bra. Killer black Salvatore Ferragamo heels complete the look.

Carey Mulligan attended the Film Critic’s Circle Awards in London last week. The actress wowed in a red tulip print midi-dress from the new spring collection by Roland Mouret. She paired the bold dress with equally bold cobalt blue Yves Saint Laurent platforms.

Demi Lovato attended the 12th Annual Latin Grammy Awards which took place at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas earlier this week. Demi went for the wow-factor in a plunging neckline gown by Roland Mouret. If you don’t consider Demi’s age this is a great look, the dress hangs perfectly and the wine colour is great on Demi’s olive complexion. But considering Demi is only 19 it’s just a little too old for her. The dress is available to buy right now over on Net-a-porter for the princely sum of £1,095!

Amy Adams attended the premiere of new musical comedy The Muppets in Hollywood last night. The actress chose a white and red off the shoulder dress from the new spring collection by Roland Mouret. The dress is nipped in at the waist with a black belt and the look is finished with nude heels.

The annual GQ Men of the Year Awards took place earlier this week at the Royal Opera House in London. The event attracts an impressive array of stars, this year’s attendees included the likes of Bradley Cooper and designer Tommy Hilfiger. Charlize Theron was one of the big stars on the red carpet. Charlize went for a chic look in grey palazzo pants and a lavender silk top all from the fall collection by Roland Mouret.

Emma Stone attended the official opening of the 37th American Film Festival in Deauville, France last week. I couldn’t help but be disappointed with her look; Emma opted for a gold textured silk gown by Roland Mouret. In the flesh this dress is stunning but this doesn’t seem to come across in the photos. Adding to that is the ill-fitting shape which makes it appear a little too big for her. I do however love her Alexander McQueen clutch.

All eyes are on Kate Middleton across the globe as she embarks on her first royal tour in her new role as Catherine the Duchess of Cambridge. I was more than a little disappointed in her going away ensemble – she boarded the plane at Heathrow wearing a Roland Mouret dress teamed with a Smythe blazer – the effect was a little too contestant on The Apprentice.

However a change of clothes on-board proved to be an inspired choice; on landing Kate debuted a lace design from the new resort collection by British-Canadian designer Erdem. As one of my all time favourite designers I am very pleased to see Kate finally choose an Erdem number. She teamed the dress with nude shoes from her favourite accessories label LK Bennett. The eagle-eyed will note as this dress is from the upcoming resort collection, it is not in shops yet which means Kate must be wearing a sample…..

Later in the afternoon Kate attended a ceremony at the Canadian Museum of Civilization outside Ottawa. On this occasion Kate recycled an v-neck bird print dress by Sloaney’s favourite label – Issa. Kate was previously spotted wearing this on the eve of her wedding heading into the Goring Hotel. Nine West wedges completed the look.

Earlier today Kate and William attended a reception for young Canadian volunteers at the Governor General residence in Ottawa. On this occasion Kate moved away from the darker palette she has been sporting in a white ruffle front dress by Reiss. This is the sell-out dress Kate wore in the official engagement photos shot by Mario Testino. She added a playful spark of colour with red shoes, a Sylvia Fletcher red hat and an Anya Hindmarch clutch.

Eva Mendes was another name on the red carpet for the Guys Choice Awards last night. Eva went for a look from Roland Mouret in a purple drape front dress. This is the kind of dress you see on the hanger and don’t look at twice, however once on (as is the beauty of Mouret’s designs) it somehow fits in all the right places, as demonstrated perfectly here by Eva.
