Mila Kunis was another star in attendance at the MTV Movie Awards. She didn’t walk the red carpet but did appear on stage alongside Justin Timberlake (yes they are groping one another – you’ll have to tune in tonight to find out why!) Mila, like Leighton Meester and Kristen Stewart also chose to wear Balmain for the evening. Mila got the tone of her look exactly right for the event in a metallic mini-skirt and black long-sleeved top from the fall Balmain collection.
The annual MTV Movie Awards took place last night in LA. The big winner of the night was once again The Twilight Saga who cleaned up, taking away best male and female performances, best kiss, best fight and the best movie. The cast were all in attendance to present the world premiere of the trailer for the latest instalment, Breaking Dawn Part 1.
In the style stakes Kristen Stewart has certainly found her ‘look’ for the purposes of red carpet appearances -tiny dress (never pretty – think edgy), killer heels, ruffled hair and that ‘I don’t give a ****’ attitude. On this occasion a red metal embellished strapless mini dress from the spring collection by Balmain teamed with black Christian Louboutin heels.
Balmain is the perfect choice of designer for Kristen – rock-chick, tough-luxe – words that describe the brand but also work pretty well for Kristen too.
Kristen Stewart attended the Costume Institute Gala at the MET last night and looked much happier and more relaxed on the red carpet than in previous years. The Twilight actress went for a custom made gown by Proenza Schouler. The black and red column dress features a thigh split and my favourite detail the daring open back. Kristen accessorised the look with Fred Leighton bracelets, Proenza Schouler sandals and a clutch.
Fellow Twilight star Ashley Greene also attended the ball. Whilst Kristen was busy perfecting her edgy red carpet look, Ashley went for a dramatic look in a custom made nude tulle gown by Donna Karan. Lorraine Schwartz jewels complete the ultra glamourous look.

US Weekly hosted their Hot Hollywood Stars Who Care event last night in Los Angeles. A host of celebrities attended from blogger Perez Hilton to The Hill’s star Whitney Port. Heiress Paris Hilton was picture perfect on the red carpet in a silver asymmetric wrapped dress by Alexander Wang.
Kelly Osbourne continued on her fashion quest, showing off her svelte figure in a floor length geometric design dress from GUiSHEM’s new spring collection. You may remember GUiSHEM hit the headlines when Twilight’s Kristen Stewart wowed in a design at the Spike TV Scream awards.
Burberry Prorsum have for the past two seasons spearheaded a new initiative where following the live stream (yes now we can all sit front row) of the show at London Fashion Week for a limited time, items from the collection are available to buy online, giving a high fashion dimension to instant fashion. The high street has always been the go-to place to get a fashion fix fast but the designer world is harder and faster to keep up. Already for many labels there are four collections a year; spring, pre-fall, fall and resort, in an attempt to meet the voracious appetite of today’s consumer.
Yesterday Charmed star Alyssa Milano attended the Acts of Love Charity event. Alyssa wore a black bustier dress by Elizabeth & James the clothing line by the Olsen twins. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this dress, Kristen Stewart wore the design in Madrid for Twilight promotions last year.
Who wore the design better? It’s certainly more fitted on Alyssa but Kristen made the right choice in forgoing tights for bare legs. Kristen’s pick of Christian Louboutin pumps work better than Alyssa’s strappy sandals but I just can’t forgive Kristen’s hair……
Back in June Kristen Stewart stepped out for a photocall for the release of The Twilight Saga, Eclipse in Germany. The usually comfortably clad Kristen wowed in a blue and black mini dress from Versace’s fall collection. Now if you fancy a splurge in good time for the Christmas season you may as well go the whole hog in the very same Versace number. Net-a-porter have just got the design in available for £1,420.
Kristen Stewart made a welcome return to the red carpet this week when she appeared first at the Scream TV awards and then on the red carpet for a screening of her new movie, Welcome to the Rileys.
The Twilight star made her way on stage at the Scream tv awards to accept her best actress award last weekend in Los Angeles. Kristen has always enjoyed mixing up her choice of designers from well established to the up and coming, on this occasion she chose a white geometric patterned mini dress from the spring 2011 collection by new designer, GUiSHEM by Guillermo Jop. Giuseppe Zanotti white and black pumps finished off this refreshingly young and fun look.
Later in the week Kristen attended the New York screening of Welcome to the Rileys in a much sexier ensemble. A lace asymmetric dress from the resort collection of Valentino teamed with Brian Atwood heels and a slick of vampy red lips made for a dazzling appearance.
