Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan hit the red carpet in Leicester Square last night for the London premiere of Never Let Me Go. For Keira the appearance was a great improvement on her earlier mismatch Rodarte ensemble.
She chose a nude knitted dress from Chanel’s fall haute couture collection. Chanel is not an unexpected designer given the actresses commercial links with the brand and although the dress is exquisite surely Keira could have chosen something with a little more colour.
Carey Mulligan went for one of her favourite designers; Vionnet. Her outfit of choice; a white, red and black design halterneck dress teamed with gold sandals from Vionnet’s resort collection. This dress for me is underwhelming; the oversized design and print make it just a little bit too casual for the red carpet and the shoes just don’t go. As for Carey’s hair it screams of 1990s school discos (and that is definitely not a good thing).

The London Film Festival began today with a photocall for Never Let Me Go, the film that stars two of Britain’s finest; Keira Knightely and Carey Mulligan. The two actresses were on-hand in Leicester Square and go head to head in the style stakes.
Carey Mulligan exuded ladylike chic in a mustard yellow chiffon dress by Proenza Schouler. Keira Knightley chose a more unconventional look in a blue and white printed Rodarte skirt from the spring/summer 2011 collection teamed with a nude lace blouse and Christian Louboutin pumps.

Carey Mulligan looked tres chic at the New York premiere of her new movie Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. The young actress wore an ensemble more grown-up than her usual choice of attire but just as stylish nevertheless. A top and skirt ensemble in nude and black from the fall collection of Nina Ricci teamed with black heels.

Carey Mulligan made yet another fabulous appearance that has cemented her status as a fully fledged fashionista. Out and about to promote the release of her new film Never Let Me Go, Carey debuted two looks.
At a special screening in New York Carey chose a dress from the fall collection of Elie Saab. The combination of gothic black lace, sultry smokey eyes and Carey’s ethereal elfin appearance make for a breathtaking look.
The day before Carey had attended the TIFF press conference for the film. For the occasion a more casual look for Carey that was nonetheless so stylish. A draped dress from the resort collection of Vionnet paired with rather fab leopard Prada pumps.

Carey Mulligan attended the premiere of her new film Never Let Me Go at the Toronto International Film Festival last night. British actress Carey has become renowned for her fashion forward choices, this occasion was no exception; a dress from the resort collection of British designer Christopher Kane in the famous Galaxy print. The style of this dress is perfect example of the fall/winter 50s ladylike look. She pairs the dress with maroon Salvatore Ferragamo heels.

The New York premiere of ‘The Kids are All Right’ provided an unexpected fashion frenzy. The films leading ladies Mia Wasikowska of Alice in Wonderland fame and Hollywood heavyweight Julianne Moore provided the style credentials for the evening.
A series of awe inspiring outfits and Mia Wasikowska is beginning to get a name for herself in fashion circles (think the new Carey Mulligan). Last night she did not disappoint choosing to wear a black and blue lacy design from Rodarte. The dress actually comes from spring 2008 but that doesn’t make it any less fabulous, the perfect mix of elegance and sexiness.
Julianne Moore chose not to be outshined by her young co-star arriving in a custom gown from Erdem’s spring 2010 collection. At Lady Glamourazzi we have loved Erdem’s delicate floral prints and classic feminine shapes for a long time and here is why….

She is the girl of the moment in the acting world and one who has everyone talking in fashion circles. When Carey Mulligan hit Cannes film festival what she would wear was the question on every fashionista’s mind. Would she go quirky like at the Oscars in a Prada gown adorned with cutlery or something more classic like the Vionnet of the Baftas.
Well it seems Carey decided a classically elegant look was the way to go. For the premiere of ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’ she went for a stunning 50s style dress with embellished peter pan collar by Azzaro. And for the photocall earlier that day a RM by Roland Mouret shift dress and Fendi sandals were the outfit of choice.
