Toronto played host last night to the Much Music Awards. The awards ceremony partially voted for by fans boasted a star studded attendance, with our favourite celebs taking to the red carpet. The big winner of the night was Justin Bieber who was awarded best video, international video and best new artist. Miley Cyrus and The Jonas brothers also took away awards.

Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry stirred the boat in the fashion stakes both performing in raunchy outfits. Our best dressed has to go to Twilight’s Ashley Greene who plays Alice Cullen. The young actress wore an outfit similar to that of Kristen Stewart’s MTV Movie Awards Dolce and Gabbana ensemble, a gold and grey strapless dress by Isaac Mizrahi.

Honourable mention also goes to Whitney Port who has had a succession of stunning red carpet ensembles (in Moschino at the SATC2 premiere and in Yigal Azrouel at MTV Movie Awards) the latest of which is also by Moschino.

Elsewhere Katy Perry turned heads in a bright blue cutaway asymmetric dress by sequin king, Ashish. Gossip Girl’s Jessica Szhor went for a daring red plunge dress by Jenny Packham. Whilst The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev chose a little dress by Tadashi Shoji.
