Stars gathered in LA last night for the annual BAFTA Britannia Awards. Carey Mulligan arrived fresh from news that she has been crowned Harper’s Bazaar’s best dressed. She lived up to her title in a black and white dress from the new spring collection by Preen. Monochrome is always a chic choice and is brightened up by Carey’s choice of electric blue Yves Saint Laurent platforms.

Also bringing the wow factor; child star turned fashionista Dakota Fanning. Dakota wore a cream drop waist gown from the fall couture collection by Valentino for a fairytale princess look. Olivia Wilde went for a sophisticated looked in a black sequinned gown from the fall collection by Michael Kors.

Marion Cotillard made a questionable choice in a one sleeved mini dress from Elie Saab’s spring collection teamed with Jimmy Choos. The shade of grey and oversized fit make this look underwhelming.
