Jessica Alba wasn’t the only one out on the red carpet in Venice last night. Natalie Portman also attended the premiere of her new film Black Swan. Like Jessica, Natalie suffered from wardrobe lacklustre at a photocall earlier in the day (Miu Miu mini dress). But Natalie also managed to redeem herself.

There was never any question of what designer Natalie Portman would wear for the premiere. The Mulleavy sisters, the brains behind fashion house Rodarte, designed the costumes for the film so of course Natalie would be dressed in Rodarte’s finest.

Natalie is of course no stranger to Rodarte and has chosen their designs on many occasions; for the 2009 Academy Awards a pink strapless gown, a black and grey gothic design to the premiere of Birdwatchers in Venice in 2008 and for the Berlin Film Festival a bright blue lacey design.
