Glamourettes love awards season, not because we are interested in who takes the awards home (most of the films unless they include Robert Pattinson we are very unlikely to have actually seen) but for the dresses! Chloe Sevigny in ruffled Valentino (this was ripped as she got on stage to accept her award for best supporting actress in a tv series– divine intervention?)

Lady Glamourazzi’s worst look:

Elisabetta Canalis in Roberto Cavalli. We expected more for the lady on the arm of George Clooney. The colour is terrible, she is absolutely stunning but has somehow managed to pick up and choose the only dress that does nothing for her. In addition one day (hopefully soon) women will learn that tattoos and evening wear do not go.

Lady Glamourazzi’s top pick:

Olivia Wilde in Gucci. Everything about this look is exactly right, the dress is show-stopping, although the plunging neckline is risqué Olivia’s smaller bust pulls it off without looking trashy. The hair, makeup and accessories are all perfectly understated, with a dress so glam it’s important they don’t take anything away. Love Love Love!!!!
