Whilst Robert Pattinson and Ashley Greene are off promoting Breaking Dawn in Belgium, Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone have taken to Rome for appearances during the Rome Film Festival. Nikki who plays Rosalie in the series blew me away at the red carpet Rome premiere in an ivory draped gown with dramatic v-neckline and exposed back. This is a stunning design by Romanian designer Maria Lucia Hohan, well known for her bridal designs.

Earlier in the day Nikki appeared alongside Jackson, who plays Jasper at a photocall for the film. For the occasion Nikki chose a little black dress with embellished neckline detail from the difffusion label Alice, by Alice Temperley. She teamed the dress with lace Casadei boots.

Michelle Williams at the15th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala. (Hollywood, CA)

The 15th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala took place this week in LA. The glitzy ceremony attracted an impressive guestlist of Hollywood’s elite.

Michelle Williams who is currently promoting her new film in which she plays Marilyn Monroe, took to the red carpet for the awards. Michelle chose a black strapless chiffon gown from the new spring collection by Nina Ricci. What you can’t see in this picture that gives the dress that added bit of drama is the sheer layers of the bottom of the dress.

Carey Mulligan at the15th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala. (Hollywood, CA)

Carey Mulligan made an appearance at the awards. For Carey a simple but chic halterneck dress with tasselled detail from the new spring collection by Bottega Veneta. Carey teamed the look with a belt to add some definition and an elegant clutch bag also by Bottega Veneta.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley at the15th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala. (Hollywood, CA)

Girl of the moment Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attended the event. Rosie opted to wear a sequin embroidered dress from the fall collection by Emilio Pucci. The high neckline and low hemlength make for a surprisingly demure choice of ensemble for Rosie. She teams the dress with black Christian Louboutin pumps.

Elle Fanning at the15th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala. (Hollywood, CA)

A 13 year old Elle Fanning was another celeb hitting the red carpet. Elle showed off her love of fashion in a pretty laser cut floor-length gown from the new spring collection of Valentino. The nice thing about Elle’s style is that she doesn’t try and dress older than she is; minimal makeup, a girlie hairdo and flat sandals complete the look.

Emma Stone at the15th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala. (Hollywood, CA)

Saving the best for last, Emma Stone was my best dressed celeb at the awards. Emma wore a cream sheer layered pleated dress from the new spring collection by British designer Jonathan Saunders. This is a beautiful dress on Emma, very girlie but still stylish with it midi-length hemline. Emma perfectly compliments the dress with feminine ribbon tie sandals by Christian Dior.

Olivia Wilde made an appearance on the red carpet for the premiere of new movie In Time. The actress looked chic in a long black dress from the new spring collection by Yigal Azrouel. For the occasion Demi opted for an elegant red patterned pencil dress by Zac Posen. She teamed the dress with black satin Brian Atwood pumps and a Christian Louboutin clutch. FASHION WEEK – London Fashion Week Roundup

I’ve been attending London Fashion Week for a fair few seasons now and it’s exciting to see the rapidly increasing buzz and excitement that surrounds the shows and designers. It isn’t just the new designers, for which London is becoming synonymous but the established names including the arrival of one Mr Tom Ford which is fast making the city a force to reckoned with on the fashion scene.

Christopher Kane is fast becoming one of the hottest tickets of the week. This season was arguably one of his best; a collection inspired by teenage girl’s dear diary paraphernalia of appliqué flowers, jacquard metallics and pretty brocades. Shift dresses, tunic dresses and matching skirts all sure to provoke a rather apt teenage like envy to those lucky enough to get their hands on these pieces!

Mulberry showed a collection of clothing good enough to eat all in ice-cream pastels inspired by the British seaside. Models paraded the runway with backbrushed hair – those that paid enough attention to take it in did well indeed given the starry front row- Kate Moss and Kristen Stewart no less.

When I sat down to watch the last Burberry show I did so with a certain amount of trepidation. For me Christopher Bailey’s last good collection was his shearling aviator show of autumn/winter 2010. So you can imagine my elation at his spring/summer 2012 catwalk – Bailey is back to his best! 50′s midi-skirts ruled with what is set to be the defining silhouette of the season. The earthy palette of greens and autumnal rust was a nice diversion from the sickly sweet offerings of countless other designers for spring/summer.

Finally the lovely Roksanda Ilincic. Roksanda’s previous collection on sumptous evening gowns in jewel coloured silks put her firmly on the fashion map and landed a few of her designs on the red carpet. This season she took her collection to a new sportier level with a much more playful silhouette.
