Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge or Kate Middleton has had a busy week; in addition to appearing alongside Prince William on Armed Forces Day, the newly married couple also paid a visit to Wimbledon. To take in the tennis the famously demure Kate went for a pretty white layered dress by Temperley London.

Earlier in the week she looked chic in a tailored buttoned military style coat, an adaptation of one of Sarah Burton’s designs for the pre-fall Alexander McQueen collection. She teamed the coat with a clutch by Anya Hindmarch. An upcoming visit for the couple to Canada and the USA will undoubtedly provide more flawless looks.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley made an appearance in New York this week as the latest instalment in the Transformers franchise hits cinemas. For this occasion Rosie wowed in a red strapless dress with contouring details from the fall collection by Antonio Berardi. I’m very pleased Rosie chose to wear Berardi for this promotional tour, the trademark sexiness in his designs teamed with Rosie’s make a perfect match.

The presentation of the resort collection by Salvatore Ferragamo took place earlier this week in New York. The fashion event attracted an impressive array of stars, all decked out in their Ferragamo finest. Twilight star Ashley Greene showed off a chic look wearing a belted white dress teamed with a houndstooth clutch and red shoes from the fall collection.

Freida Pinto also went for a smart look, she attended wearing a white skirt and printed halterneck top look teamed with brown sandals. Emma Roberts represented young Hollywood, Emma went for a dark purple wrap mini dress with open front detail teamed with heels from the fall collection.

Jennifer Aniston made an appearance on The Daily Show this week. The actress was spotted leaving the New York studio in a feminine little black dress from Nina Ricci. A little black dress is always a safe option for Jennifer but this one in pretty lace is a girlier version.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attended the Moscow premiere of new movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon as part of the Moscow International Film Festival earlier this week. Rosie pulled out another show-stopping outfit, this one a yellow and black sheer chiffon silk design from the fall collection by Gucci. This is one of my favourite looks of the week and one of Rosie’s best – it’s nice to see her mix a bit of that trademark sexiness with fashion forward looks.

Florence Welch appeared on Good Morning America to perform alongside her band Florence and the Machine. Florence is famous for her high fashion stage outfits, she opted for a emerald chiffon gown with bolero from the fall 2011 collection by Gucci. Whilst the look isn’t shown off in quite as much grace as on the runway, it’s the perfect fit for the drama of Florence’s music.

Selena Gomez attended the New York premiere of her new movie, Monte Carlo this week alongside her boyfriend Justin Bieber. Selena went for full on glamour in a floor-length powder blue gown by J.Mendel. Selena has had a string of amazing outfits recently, this one however, is not one of them. The dress is a little too much for a film premiere, plus I can’t help but feel it is a little too old for her – something younger an fresher would have been preferable.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attended the Moscow press conference for her new movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon earlier today. The model turned actress went for a bright ensemble wearing a pink draped dress from the spring 2011 collection by Michael Kors. Whilst I like the high neckline, draping and thigh split – I just cannot like the colour – even on Rosie.

Anna Paquin attended the fourth season premiere party for HBO’s vampire series True Blood last night. Anna is always a fab red carpet star choosing to wear daring designs and many up and coming designers. On this occasion she opted for a black mini dress with purple sheer corset detailing (sounds horrid but is actually pretty great) from the fall collection by Versus. She teamed the look with black Brian Atwood pumps and a black clutch.

Cameron Diaz attended the New York premiere of her new movie Bad Teacher in New York last night alongside co-star and ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake. For the occasion a typically Cameron ensemble consisting of teeny tiny dress – all the better to show off those legs with. The two-tone dress comes from the spring collection by Chanel, she teamed the dress with Casadei pointed toe pumps.
