Catherine Zeta Jones brought a bit of old school Hollywood to Cardiff last night at the Welcome to Wales party. The Welsh actress wore a red capped sleeve gown from the pre-fall collection of Reem Acra teamed with a chic little Judith Leiber clutch, oversized earrings and a sleek hairdo.

Last night a star-studded party for Roberto Cavalli’s 40th anniversary took place to kick off Paris Fashion Week. Celebrities flocked to the event to join in the celebrations for the legendary designer.
As can only be expected the only designer of choice for the evening was of course Roberto Cavalli. The show-stopping dress of the night went to Leona Lewis who wore an orange (yes I know but it kind of works) ruffle bottom ball-gown.

Taylor Swift arrived in a Cavalli little black dress. Rachel Bilson showed how chic leopard print can be in a strapless gown from the pre-fall collection. Bar Rafaeli chose a backless design from the archives (as seen on VB), whilst Aishwayra Rai wore a silver gown adapted from last years resort collection. Finally Heidi Klum wowed in a nude draped design.

Cheryl Cole made her first eagerly anticipated public appearance since falling ill with malaria and divorcing husband Ashley Cole last night in London. She attended the launch for her range of de Grisogono jewellary ‘promise’ at Nobu.
And what of her attire? An Elie Saab dress from the spring collection teamed with Christian Louboutin heels. A highly glamorous appearance (plus a reunion with her much loved hair extension) but still just a little too wag for my liking.
Girls Aloud band-mate and good friend Kimberley Walsh was also in attendance (along with Nicola Roberts, Selena Gomez and Diana Vickers) in a little black dress by Herve Leger.

Cameron Diaz is still attending to her red carpet duties for new film Knight and Day alongside co-star Tom Cruise. Her most recent outing took her to Tokyo today where she attended the films premiere. Her chosen look; a black high-necked woollen dress from Bottega Veneta teamed with colourful mesh Jimmy Choo sandals. A little boring maybe but a chic look nonetheless.

As Milan Fashion Week came to an end last night, it wouldn’t be fashion without a starry party to celebrate. AmfAR hosted a red carpet event with a guestlist that included designers, models and celebrities.
Heidi Klum was the belle of the ball in a silver sequin strapless gown by Roberto Cavalli. Model Alessandra Ambrosi looked chic in a little black prom dress from the fall collection of Dolce and Gabbana.

Whoever is behind Gemma Arterton’s recent styling is creating her looks with perfection. Yesterday she attended a screening of her new film in New York City in a stunning black strapless gown from the resort collection of Bottega Veneta. A fabulous ensemble; from the simple black dress to the laidback hair and the sultry smoky eyes.

Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively was out and about in New York yesterday doing what she does best….posing unashamedly for fans and photographers. Her dress of choice (taking a break from couture Chanel dresses) was a very beautiful Elie Saab black beaded gown from the fall collection.

Kylie Minogue continued on her Milan Fashion Week visit with a stop at the Dolce & Gabbana show. The Sicilian design duo debuted their spring/summer collection of trademark feminine designs in luxurious lace embroidery. Kylie looked very much on-trend therefore in her yellow strapless lacey dress as she sat front row.
The day didn’t end there for Dominco and Stefano when they went on to host a party for supermodel Naomi Campbell who is celebrating 25 years of working with the legendary Italian design house. For the occasion Naomi wore a teeny tiny black strapless mini dress from the fall collection of Dolce & Gabbana.

It was a very special show Roberto Cavalli today at Milan Fashion Week, not only was he presenting his spring/summer collection but his eponymous label is also celebrating its 40th anniversary.
To mark such a milestone it is only fitting that flock of celebrities flew in for the event. Front row included Taylor Swift, Rachel Bilson, Heidi Klum and Leona Lewis to observe a show that had all the hallmarks of Cavalli exuberant glamour and excess.

Taylor Swift was decked out head to toe in Cavalli, from her black lace-up leather boots to the satin mini skirt and georgette blouse, overall a slightly Piratesque ensemble but we’ll let it pass.
Rachel Bilson looked her usual edgy chic in a Cavalli patterned mini dress teamed with a black blazer. Leona Lewis went for a failsafe look of little black dress and oversized jacket. Finally Heidi Klum exuded cool in an animal print blouse, leather jacket and tailored trousers.

Heroes’ star Hayden Panettiere accompanied her boyfriend to a charity gala in Munich last night. For the event Hayden wowed in a black mini dress from the fall collection of Emilio Pucci. At first glance this is just another LBD, but a closer inspection reveals the stunning low-back lace detailing which gives the dress the wow-factor.
